Welcome to Rudy’s Aquarium — a small, family-run Betta fish breeder based in South East London, where every fish is raised with care, patience and pride. Unlike imported Bettas that are mass-bred in tiny pots and arrive stressed, our Bettas are born and bred right here in London, in calm, clean, and spacious tanks.
Guided by Mr B — our resident “Betta Boy” and Fish Whisperer — we focus on gentle, ethical breeding. Each fish is kept in community tanks for as long as possible, helping them grow into more relaxed, socialised, and confident fish — even our males.
Inspired by Mr B’s Caribbean roots, the tropical hues of our Bettas reflect the vibrant colours of the Belizean sea he grew up around. From pearlescent pinks to ocean-turquoise blues, each fish embodies a little piece of that tropical serenity.
Collection is preferred from BR3 (South East London / Greater London). Local hand-delivery within a 4–5 mile radius is available for a £5–£10 fee, arranged via email after purchase confirmation.
Every fish is unique — colours and fin shapes may vary slightly from the photos shown. If collecting, you’re welcome to choose your fish in person; for delivery, we’ll select the healthiest and most beautiful available from the same batch.
