An exciting blend of genetics, our White Koi × Half moon Betta fry are 2 months old and already showing beautiful variety! This unique pairing of a pale violet Halfmoon male (with burgundy/purple fins) and a colourful koi-patterned female has produced a mix of adorable young Bettas, each with its own surprises. Some fry are bright, pearly white; others are beginning to display vibrant koi patches of red, orange, or black on a light base. A few are even showing early Halfmoon-style fins – wider and more flowing – with washes of red and purple coming through. They’re growing quickly and changing by the week, so you’ll get to watch new colours and patterns emerge as they mature. Warm water & proper care: Happiest in 24–27 °C (75–81 °F) water with gentle flow and plenty of plants in their tank
Playful by nature: These baby Bettas interact well with their siblings (do plan ahead: adult male Bettas cannot live together and will need separate tanks, while females can live in groups if introduced carefully)
Collection or Local Delivery
Collection preferred: To get the pick of the bunch, we highly recommend collecting from our location in BR3 (South East London); seeing the fry in person lets you choose the one that appeals to you most 🐠
Local delivery: If you can’t come in person, we can arrange local hand-delivery within ~5 miles for a £10 fee; in that case we’ll hand-pick a healthy, beautiful fry for you with the utmost care
